Senior Thesis Exhibition Group Exhibition Painting Studio, Arcadia University, USA My goal was to bring attention to the consistent role Black Empowerment has played in music through the years. Many of the people who attended the exhibit said that it was powerful and they felt something as they gazed upon my work. Fun Fact: I chose to dress as one of my heroes: Angela Davis.
6x6x6x48 Group Exhibition Murphy Hall, Arcadia University, USA #Don'tTouchMyHair It was a social experiment to see who would still touch the hair. No one touched it, which I was thankful for but I then gave them permission. They still didn't touch the hair which I thought was interesting. It showed me that even though people know not to touch ethnic hair, as much as it fascinates them, some decide to ignore that and do so anyway (personal experience).
